Kwame Charitable Foundation's 'More Hopeful Futures Mini-Grant

Applications Are Closed

Purpose:

Established in 2025, this financial award is available to applicants in the St. Louis Metro area to help with eligible secondary educational and self-improvement expenses.  


Ranging from tuition, course related fees, apprenticeship costs, workshops, tools, transportation, uniforms, equipment and more. 


Individuals currently enrolled in school, apprenticeships and 

post-secondary programs are encouraged to apply!


Criteria:

To be eligible to be considered for this financial award of $500, applicants must:

  • Demonstrate an unmet financial need
  • Have a high school diploma, GED, or certification
  • Plan to enroll in an accredited post-secondary program leading to a certificate, associate or bachelor's degree. (proof is required)
  • Ages 17-25


Submission Requirements:

  • Complete Application
  • Submit Transcript for current academic year (for students)
  • Submit a 200-word Essay


After review, selected applicants will be contacted via email and informed of next steps.
