In 2003, compelled to help bright first-generation college students whose academic success was hindered by limited resources, Kim and Tony Thompson established the Kwame Foundation. Now 21 years later, the Foundation has established more than 30 endowed scholarships, while also supporting organizations that help to enhance the educational landscape within this region and throughout the United States.
Today, as the philanthropic arm of Kwame Building Group, Inc., Kwame Charitable Foundation strives to change the trajectory of the lives of motivated young adults. College exposure and endowed scholarships are the primary avenues by which we remove barriers that can impede success. We look towards a future that is more hopeful for scholars who deserve of the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Kwame Charitable Foundation iscommitted to enhancing the lives of young adult college students since 2003. Your support has brought this vision to life. On this day of generosity, we ask you to give a tax-deductible donation to help us continue to bring 'More Hopeful Futures' to young adults in 2025.
It was an inspired evening, as Kathy Osborn was the first recipient of the 'Betty and Jack Thompson Lifetime Achievement Award'.
